Shana Boone was born and raised in Portsmouth, Virginia. Shana moved to Wilmington Delaware in 1988. Although Shana wasn’t accustomed to the city life, she decided to roll up her sleeves and do the best she could with what she had. As a single mother, Shana admits hers was a hard knock life, but she overcame the worst of times, from abusive relationships to project housing. Nineteen years and five children later, Shana realizes life is what you make it and sometimes you do have to fall before you can stand.
