My name is Gary L. Stephenson, PHD. I was born in Lubbock Texas. In 1964, I graduated from Monterey High School and in 1989 I attended South Plains Junior College in Levelland, Texas. I attended Texas Tech University and received an Associate’s degree in Family Studies in 1994. In 1995, I received from the Texas Alcohol and Drug Commission my certification as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. In 1998 I received a Masters in Psychology and Christian Counseling from Louisiana Baptist University. In 1999 I received my license as a Certified Pastoral Clinical Counselor from the Texas Christian Counselors Association. I served in the United States Air Force from 1965 to 1969 as a “Communications Specialist.”
