Biography:
Carlos Feder was born in Vienna, Austria. He graduated from the School of Medicine of the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. In that country he practiced internal medicine for 30 years and at the same time taught this specialty at the University Hospital. For the past half century, his obsession to invent and improve an algorithm of computerizing medical diagnosis led him to review existing relevant literature, publish papers, and secure research grants from Roemmers pharmaceuticals. In 1983, he immigrated to Palo Alto, California, where he practiced his specialty for another 19 years before retiring in 2002. Since then he dedicated most of his time organizing his experience and novel ideas, and describing his medical diagnostic algorithm that promises to be a breakthrough in the field.
