A graduate of Temple University, Ron Bechtel began his career as an assistant to Robert De Niro on his Academy Award winning film, Raging Bull. He has worked on numerous motion pictures, music videos, television series in various capacities, including writer, producer and director. As an internationally recognized screenwriting instructor, and guest lecturer, he has taught throughout the country and abroad. Mr. Bechtel is the founder of The Great Hollywood Story Search, a national seminar series designed to assist new writers in gaining access to the studio mainstream. He currently serves as Vice President of Development for Walker Lane Inc.
