The author grew up in the 1950’s in rural Mississippi. She spent many happy hours fishing with her grandmother along the creek close to their home. After living in Texas and Oklahoma for twenty-seven years, she moved back to her roots and felt compelled to write her first novel inspired by childhood memories. When not working her full-time job, she can be found visiting with relatives and gathering material for her next book.
