I have been a Christian for over fifty years, and for all of those years I have had only one problem. It started out as a rather insignificant, but troublesome concept that came up ever so seldom. In fact, in the beginning, it came up so seldom, that I simply chose to ignore it. Over the years, however, this teaching became more and more common, and I became more uncomfortable with it. Today, it seems like the message of “Christ-like-ness” is all that we hear. Every Sunday, it finds its way into almost every sermon.
