Biography:
Great-grandmother Lura Spears Zerick has learned how to enjoy her later years. The 73-year-old spent her earlier years in depression with a deep sense of failure.
She credits the change in her life to discovering her spiritual self, which re-affirmed the God-given abilities that she had forgotten or ignored. As she approached middle age, Lura began freelance writing and was elated to have her articles accepted. Reaching further, she edited and published a newsletter for women, wrote and produced a daily radio program and authored two other books: WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? and THE GOLDEN OLDEN DAYS.
