The author creates his tales from real life and is inspired by the diverse characters life throws at him. He is married, has two children, and is in his forties. His current employment is as a federal agent in Charlotte, North Carolina and this is his first published work.

Having come of age in the seventies, his writing reflects the attitudes those years imparted upon him. He is also the author of "Firsts Are Forever", a romance novel with a decidedly different slant, and "Cheap Shots", a novel of the bar business and its diverse secrets.
