Biography:
Dennis Brooks dropped out of school at age fifteen because he couldn’t read and work word problems. That was in 1963, when he was reading at about 8 words per minute. He earned his GED in 1969, and his diploma in 1975. Still, he was reading only about 16 words per minute when he graduated from college in 1995 with his Bachelor’s degree.
Yet after producing and using the material in this course, he has increased his reading speed to 250 words per minute. He now believes that anyone with dyslexia can read faster.
