A member of the Western Writers of America, Patricia (Hoffman) Martin grew up in Oklahoma listening to the stories told by her maternal grandmother of her early life homesteading on the plains of Kansas and Oklahoma in the late 1800’s. Martin’s determination to chronicle these true stories resulted in this exciting, historical novel. Patricia Martin now makes her home in Colorado, where she continues to write about the West.
