Abstract:
Jerry remembers that, as a child, he disliked being around people, sometimes hiding in his room or under the house so he could be alone. Many people knew he was not “normal” and treated him terribly, even his family. At the age of 16, he joined the job corp, where he stayed for over a year, the most miserable part of his life. As time went on, everything seemed to go from bad to worse; drug and alcohol abuse taking over whatever mental capacity he had, until his problem finally diagnosed and given proper medicine so that he could stay sober and live a more-or-less normal life. Now he is very thankful for a healthier attitude, and all the people in his life who have contributed to his well being. The purpose of writing his memoirs is to help others.
