Abstract:
A twelve-year old boy discovers an amazing find while on a winter walk along a frozen riverbank in Fairbanks, Alaska. He seeks the aid of an elderly lady who resides in a nearby ramshackled dwelling. Together they stand in awe before a huge and wounded Big-Foot creature lying prostrate on the frigid river ice, its white winter fur blending nearly perfectly against the covering of ice and snow. More problems arise when many of the army personnel at the local military base begin winter maneuvers in the area the creature had just passed through earlier, discovering its tracks.
