Excellent book, phenomenally written! The Sixty-Fourth Day is heartbreaking, tragic, inspirational, and hopeful all at the same time. I have read it three times and continue to find new phrases and themes that I overlooked the previous time. This is a truly inspirational story for people of all ages, genders, and sexual orientations. It is gripping and a MUST READ! I couldn’t recommend it more!!!

THE SIXTY-FOURTH DAY is Rowena Winik’s saga of a homeless teenager’s years on the streets of Boston after her family’s rejection of her due to her sexual orientation. Though heart-wrenching in myriad ways, it is also the moving story of a woman whose horrific experiences should have broken her, but instead created a strong, wise and compassionate woman. Her refusal to define herself as a victim is the heart of this inspirational tale, and it is masterfully told
