Abstract:
‘The Watercolor of Life’ is a book of contemporary fiction, consisting of a dozen short stories. The author has brought to these stories the context, diversity and the vibrant cultures of India and U.S.A.
The stories have been crafted with mainly four issues in mind. These are human passions, globalization, the cultural contrast between East and West and women’s issues. They bring forth the magic of multi-cultural lives that Indian immigrants create on the foreign soil of U.S.A. They highlight the impact of higher education, higher ambitions, the freedom to make choices and the limitless horizons that life offers now.
