Abstract:
The years 1966 to 1975, a decade many people call “The Sixties;” years that shook America, a memorable, tumultuous time in our nation’s history. The pace of change was startling: the height and end of the Vietnam War, Watergate and Richard Nixon’s resignation, men on the moon, heart-wrenching assassinations. During The Sixties, rock music helped change the face of America. And in a small area of New Hampshire and Vermont, a number of talented rock bands formed and made music their fans still clamor for. This is the story of those bands, that era, and the people who helped make music history.
