Abstract:
This book provides homeschooling parents (and their older students) with an integrated review of the fundamentals of mathematics that includes arithmetic, exponents, basic and matrix algebra, trigonometry, sequences (especially Fibonacci’s) and series (power, Maclaurin and Taylor), and first-level calculus. The individual reviews are, by intention, short but they show that the different fields of mathematics are not isolated, but built on one another. The book uses a “..how did they do that?” approach that is both easy to read and to remember.
