Abstract:
Ideologies have extremely important consequences. To understand what they fundamentally mean and therefore where the consequences can lead to, this book offers a n advanced analysis of Conservatism and Liberalism. These ideologies are often defined by several of their dimensions: economic, political, social, etc. However, they actually each have a central core of beliefs, an understanding of who human beings are, that sheds a bright light on their other elements. The author shows how true Conservatism corresponds to the basic values that built Western civilization, is more coherent and eventually more humanistic than Liberalism.
