Abstract:
In the manner of a campfire storyteller, the author recounts trout fishing adventures to his favorite rivers, stillwater ponds and high meadow streams. The stories are colorful, contemplative, at times instructional, and often times humorous as the author describes the thrills and frustrations of angling for beautifully colored and sometimes behemoth trout. The stories are more than mere recollections. They are a uniquely woven tapestry depicting respect and appreciation for the waters the author has fished, the trout that have come to his fly, and the friends who joined him along the way.
