Abstract:
Luke�s cattle are disappearing. Rustlers? When Mike glimpses a shadowy form on a far cliff, Tom chides her about being fooled by a phantom. A corpse appears, then vanishes. Tom loves Blaze and warns her not to enter the canyon alone. Loving him dearly, she tries to oblige, but the intrigue surrounding the investigation lures her into danger. Tom is attacked and temporarily incapacitated. Mike becomes lost in a treacherous cave. Terror grips her when the rustlers discover her presence and plan to hang her. She�s seen them and heard their plans. How can she escape their vile intentions?
