Abstract:
The crew of the Reckless Faith has just gained a critical victory over the insectoid Zendreen, and permanently banished them from the planet Umber. The Zendreen fleet, partially infected with the deadly Vengeance virus, has withdrawn to nearby space to reorganize. A lasting peace for Umber seems within reach, but the Zendreen are about to open a door to a new threat, a mysterious and terrifying force that may consume both friend and foe alike. The crew of the Faith must join forces with a freelance ship and pursue the Zendreen at any cost. A new war awaits them all.
