Abstract:
In Sacramento, in the 1850s, Billy Costello continues to help Dr. Marcel Bon who is experimenting with the new medical phenomenon called Hypnosis.
Billy leads some local immigrants to participate in the hypnosis sessions. Each newcomer dreams of a person who is a hero in his homeland – Scotland, Denmark, Greece, Italy, China, France, etc.
When the patient is under the hypnotic spell, he dreams of Denmark’s Beowulf, Scotland’s Macbeth, Italy’s Galileo, China’s Zhuge Liang, Leonardo DaVinci of Italy-France, Holland’s Leewonhoeuk (inventor of the microscope), Greece’s Odysseus, and more.
