Abstract:
In Sacramento, in the mid-1850s, Billy and Thalia Costello continue to help a local physician, Dr. Dulcamara, who is experimenting with the new medical phenomenon Hypnosis.

They participate further in the sessions, and find themselves being put into “dreamland” where they encounter famous figures in past history: Archimedes, Ben Franklin, Joan of Arc, Magellan, Henry the Eighth, the Alamo, the Spanish Armada, and others.

After each hypnosis session, they awake, truly believing that they had traveled back in time, to some notable event of the past.

These experiments demonstrate history in a reality mode.
