Abstract:
Dissertation Ally: A Friendly Guide to Writing, Editing and Getting it Done is a doctoral student’s resource for working through the process involved in creating a dissertation, written by a coach/editor. The book addresses issues such as planning and scheduling, writing tips, thinking through research questions, working with a chair, and “jumping the hoops” from the beginning to the end of the process. Writing a dissertation requires stamina and heart, and Dissertation Ally is a support to buoy the spirits of doctoral candidates who may feel overwhelmed by the enormity of the task they’ve taken on.
