Abstract:
Douglas Holbrook’s terminally-ill wife dies and, tragically, may do so again. Following Jane’s burial, he wakes to find time paused at two hours before her death. Discovering that he can relive his past, while not knowing the reason for being allowed his odyssey, he concludes that she might survive if he rights some terrible wrong. Committed to correcting mistakes made in his already spent life, he finds that the painful events he manages to alter appear to be ineffective. But time is running out, she’s dying, and unearthed truths assault their marriage; a result that Jane both crafts and fears.
