This book is a wonderful resource for choosing films, with over 1,111 of the best films: Dramas, Suspense, Family/Children’s, Comedies, Documentaries, Historical, International, Sci-Fi, Musicals, Opera, and Religious. Gabriel of Urantia compiled these “Movies you don’t want to miss!” to recommend consciousness-expanding films containing some social, historical, environmental, or spiritual message. Original film descriptions and many actors and directors listed, plus insightful articles. At times, the author overrides standard movie-industry ratings with his own recommended rating. For example, the industry may rate a film PG-13, but due to the content or theme, the author rates it PG-16 or even R.
