Abstract:
This book is an edited compilation of my military trilogy Back to Basic, Back to School; United States Army Europe, One Soldier’s Story; and APO 96490, Vietnam Redux. Each of those individual books memorialized my experiences in the three major phases of my military experience: basic training, service in Europe, and service in Vietnam. While the original books were produced in reverse order (APO 96490 first with Back to Basic third), this volume puts events in the order in which they occurred. Included in this work are photos and images of original documents not included in the three original books.
