Abstract:
What would you do if you found a pair of abandoned alien boots and a controller that made them fly, but the controller’s buttons were all labeled in alien symbols? Well, that’s exactly what happened to ten-year-old John Turner, and he’s finding himself in for more than he ever imagined.

Follow John and his friend Tommy as they struggle to keep the boots a secret, which is no easy task when they have to dodge a snoopy sister’s spying and a neighborhood bully’s fists. But when John discovers he has the ability to save the day, he finds himself face-to-face with the biggest obstacle of all — himself.
