Abstract:
Nobody was surprised when Oscar Kelty shot and killed his wife and tried but failed to kill himself and went across country to Alexander’s place where he was finally found and brought to jail. No, they didn’t know that, but it got Johnny Weaver and George Henry to thinking anyway. Given to trotting about Polk County anyway, the set out to see what they could find and find out about what happened that Saturday and what happened after. Little did they know that what they found would change their lives in ways that cold not be reversed.
