Abstract:
CAREER AND TECHNICAL STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS: PURPOSE AND POSSIBILITY is an indispensable collection of strategies for fully effective utilization of Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) resources for high school Career and Technical Education improvement. The underlying purposes of CTSOs are analyzed through both their history and their goals. The “Who, What, When, Where, and Why” of CTSO integration is thoroughly addressed. This book explores the possibilities of the roles that properly implemented CTSO activities can play in strengthening students’ academic, leadership, and technical skills while reinforcing invaluable business and community connections.
