Abstract:
There was no place in AJ Abernathy’s innocent mind to process the complete devastation resulting from Emmet McCaley’s death. In her struggle to survive the loss of the man she loved, AJ’s personality shatters to become three distinct and separate personalities. Baby, the innocent girl who first met Emmet, submerges herself beneath a sea of ice taking the unbearable pain and memories with her. Flash, the sexual being Emmet summoned from Baby’s soul, finishes herself in the arms of strangers while AJ takes care of the everyday matter of living. When Baby awakens, life changes for all three.
