An entertaining, instructive and often amusing spiritual autobiography. The author, a life-long student of Zen, tells his story while crisscrossing the country and the globe in his journey towards enlightenment. His exciting real-life adventures include UFO sightings, monastic life in communities in Maine and New Mexico, ashrams in India, a visit to a curandera and facing off wild boars in the desert. Along the way, he finds himself hitting the road on a book selling tour for Buddha, growing a vineyard, becoming a therapist and getting ordained.
