Abstract:
More often than we care to admit, a family member, after suddenly becoming the sole caregiver of an aging loved one, realizes that there is no “Service Manual Included.” Such caregivers are thrown into a situation for which they are unprepared but for whom this book was written.

Delaying decisions, denying the changes that accompany the aging process and avoiding warning signs can all have serious consequences. By waiting too long, the only option may be the dreaded 911 call.

But before that time arrives, several techniques and tools, based on experience rather than theory, are available. This book is such a tool.
