Abstract:
This memoir of a Navajo Native takes us back to his sheep tending chores on the arid feeding grounds of the Navajo reservation in the late 1940s, life of extreme poverty, boarding school, and to the battleground of one of the savage engagements of the Vietnam War.

This is a story of a man whose adventurous spirit spurred him beyond self-contentment until he succumbed to alcohol addiction and PTSD problem after two tours of combat service; a crisis that plunged his persistent character to the lowest point in his life until he was delivered by the Lord Jesus Christ.
