Abstract:
Instead of getting another job, Gordon decided to live a dream and go cruising on a sailboat. “Cruising With Murphy” chronicles the makeover of a solid but untested yacht into a cruising home and then follows Gordon’s adventures around the Southwest Pacific over a three-year period.

Along the way, Gordon meets with many adventures that he relays in a witty self-deprecating style that will appeal to both novices seeking know-how and seasoned salts enjoying a chuckle at other victims of Murphy’s antics.
