Abstract:
Attempts to maintain balance of power in our world system are counterproductive when opposing multiple threats to human existence. We can do much in space to benefit all of Earth, if strategic commitments are at once redirected by the major powers into global space missions. The world’s space programs are poised to foster peace on Earth, through endeavor in space. Our economic systems, based on the questionable premise of scarcity, result in untapped renewable energies and human potential. Homeplanet defense is a thought architecture that advances pure free enterprise, sustainable international alliances and improved interchange between citizens and their governments.
