Excellent book written for children primarily 3rd grade through 6th. The short stories are excellent, and each teaches one of life's important lessons. Study guides based on the Virginia 6th Grade Standards of Learning are located in the back of the book. My granddaughter and I spent a couple of hours reading each story aloud. My daughter-in-law (a teacher) raved about the book. I bought a copy for each of my children and for myself.
