Abstract:
The author has hunted ducks since his youth, relishing the duck marshes and the thrills they provided every fall. Some experiences endangered his life but also further rewarded him with the thrills encountered. His love of nature has compelled him to think deeply.

It is with remorse that the author has seen the depletion of waterfowl populations through the decades, attributed to mankind’s destruction of the natural environment required by wildlife. The author is convinced that, undeterred, the destruction of the good earth by human beings is inevitable.
