Abstract:
Country music comes from deep in the heart of the American people. The music of the hills has evolved over the decades to make a unique musical experience.

However, a musical genre cannot develop without individuals willing to take a chance. These personalities envisioned an industry in a whole different angle. These visionaries refused to wear blinders when others walked the line. They persevered and made country music what it is today.

They plowed their way through a virgin musical landscape which resulted in a section of Americana that we can all be proud of because they were willing to hoe the Unfurrowed Ground.
