Whom will the memoir appeal to?

Everyone who as a kid has been picked on or bullied in school.

Everyone who has been helped–or betrayed–by a friend.

All us amateur cultural historians who are bound to be absorbed at a glance at the lives of unheralded families of three generations ago, at the beginning of The Great Depression.

All parents and teachers who will make a comparison with the recent past, and resolve their children and students will never be treated inequitably.

Every citizen concerned with the deportment of city officials, and will be gratified we have survived the era of the big city boss.
