Abstract:
Come All Ye Yankee Farmers is the second family-history subtitled An American Family Diary. The first book, Old Times, Not Forgotten, told the story of a predominantly southern family migrating, through two-hundred years of American history, to California. This book tells a similar story, but of a “Yankee” family, with its primary roots in the northern colonies of the English and Dutch, who joined the trek of westering-pioneers. Adding immigrant stock in the nineteenth-century, the Beck and Beckwith families helped settle the Great Central Valley of California and their descendants are still thriving today.
