Abstract:
This textbook was written to answer the needs of architecture students and architects. Physics principles and concepts are explained in plain language, and their relevancy to applications in architecture is demonstrated by numerous examples and solved problems. An algebra and trigonometry refreshment chapter reviews the math skills essential for the rest of the book. Practical engineering methods are included, in addition to the more traditional “strictly physics” curriculum. This textbook is a valuable resource to architecture students throughout their schooling and in their professional careers.
