Abstract:
Dag, a news magazine feature writer’s assignment: join the Catholic Charismatic Renewal, become one of them, learn about it firsthand, all for the sole purpose of writing a cover story. He experiences speaking in tongues, prophesying, being slain in the Spirit, catching people slain in the Spirit, giving teachings, praying over the sick for a healing, and more. The experiences thoroughly change his life, turning him into a churchaholic. But one of his teachings catapults him into a debate over some fundamental Christian concepts. Through it all, he has affairs with several prayer meeting participants.
