Abstract:
Amanda is a child dealing with a problem that's intolerable. She loses herself inside her dolls. They talk to her in dreams and they talk to her while awake. She tells them all of her fears and deepest secrets. She has a life sized toy soldier that watches over her. The warm sun gives him "life" as with all the dolls when no one is around. These dolls are her salvation when a threat returns to do her harm, to shut her up from revealing the "secret". The child's' guardian angel helps bring the dolls to life to rid the world of the uncle that harmed her when she was three years old. The toy soldier was a major help in this feat. Because of his courage and determination, he was given the gift of life.
