Abstract:
Edgar Allan Poe once said that a short story should be short enough to be read at a single sitting. That philosophy is certainly fitting when it comes to kids, who are often distracted by other things in this hectic world and find it difficult to stay with a long story, dismissing it as boring. THROUGH THE EYES OF A CHILD is a superb collection of nine individual fun-filled short stories and sixteen original poems that children between the ages of 8 and 12 will enjoy sitting down to read to the finish. The stories feature ordinary kids in real-life settings, and the characters are ones that any child can relate to through their own life experiences. This book would make a great addition to any child’s library.
