Abstract:
Joseph is a “vampire” artist, evading Jesus and the police. He creates paintings in a deteriorating building in the middle of the city. While he dreams and records his philosophy, his heart sways from the impossible love of one woman to the next, until settling on incarcerating them in a canvas Bastille for his own amusement. From the influence of AIDS, Joseph descends into his contorted view of divine strength. Pursued by The Stranger, who watches from the shadows, he hunts day and night. With a kiss and transference of blood, he turns acquaintances into lovers, victims into artwork.
