Fulfilling the Prophecies: The Journey of Education boldly speaks to a social setting where national concern is growing: our schools. The author explores education between 1964-1998 --- based on her experiences as a teacher during this time. The past is revisited, the present discussed, and the future is projected by how the system can become better. The book's strength lies in offering specific strategies in dealing with specific problems, strategies which have proven their worth through decades of personal implementation. The language is simple, straight-forward, and sometimes humorous. Anyone who's ever had any connection with our schools can relate to this book.
