We live in an unprecedented time in human history. Never before has there been such a time when we have such a glaring rate of broken homes at once. For too many years,dating as far back as history of this country and beyond, this issue has crippled the institution of family. From the time of slavery when fathers were forcibly taken away to now in the modern day era of privatized prison systems that hide fathers away, this issue has been present for quite some time. There are numerous other scenarios in regard to the manner of absence and some are obviously a little more intense than others. The point is that this issue has been in existence for far too long now. The sad part is that it is all by a grand design to deconstruct the institution of family by removing the leaders and heads of household. This in turn affects everyone involved.
