Life is a mystery that is unrolled as the pages of a book. We know the day that we were born, but we do not know the day that we will die. While I wait for my last day on earth, I look at my past and I see my memories unfold like playing back a video recorder. As I write this book I feel many emotions. Some of my memories brings joy others bring tears. I hope that the reader use this book to understand my way to solve everyday problems. I wish that it brings inspiration to future generations. In this book, I will reveal the secret that I use to be successful in life. It is necessary to do it right the first time. That is my first thought, That way I do not waste my time by going back to fixed something that should have been done right in the first place. The faith in God and the study of the Christian church has been a tremendous fortress that has helped me overcome the inertia of the enormous problems that I have encountered in my long life. The study of Astronomy, Mathematics and Physics taught me to learn methods to solve complex Mathematical and Scientific problems. Those same methods, a bit altered, I have used to solve many problems of my daily life. I use the scientific method to solve any kind of problem. The first step of any problem is to understand the problem. If one do not understand the problem the first time it is difficult to find the right solution.
It is necessary to understand the true frame of reference that surrounded me while I was growing up. The Puerto Rico that I saw in my childhood during and after the Second World War played a decisive role in my upbringing. During that time, the Puerto Rican way of life was very different from what they are now. I will show you a set of topics, and you will be the best judge. The discussion is extremely specific at times and in other occasions will be presented in the form of a summary. I will show you how I turn a failure into a success.
The important thing for me always has been, to establish a goal and to work toward that goal. In the morning, I get up and make a few annotations of what I want to do during the day. Before going to bed, I examine what I did today and what I fail to do. What done is done whatever I did not do today then it will be the first thing in my tomorrow list. Then I add new items to my list. I learned since a boy not to leave for tomorrow what I can do today.
Possibly you will continue reading until you get tired, but most probably the next day you will come back to open the pages of this book and continuing reading until finally you get to the end. Every day the book becomes more intriguing, I can assure you that you will enjoy reading. I am truly grateful to my teachers who prepared me to enter to the University of Puerto Rico. I remember those teachers that drive me to the edge while attending Columbia University in the city of New York. I honestly have a hard time when I was living there as a graduate student. But, I met the best teachers of Physics and Mathematics which gave me a fantastic strong education. When I went to the National Autonomous University of Mexico in Mexico City, I met Mexican teachers of formidable caliber from which I learned many things in the field of the Modern Physics and the Nuclear physics. Then I went to the University New Mexico, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where I learned more about Astronomy and the Physics of Outer Space. It was like another doctorate in another field of Physics. All that intellectual baggage stimulates me to overcome enormous challenges in the different places that I have been employed during my professional life. As one continues reading this book one will learn the details of the conditions that were surrounding me, and that forged my being for what I am today.
Everything that I have done in life has been done by me with a lot of work and tears in my eyes. In this book I reveal the customs, the music, the politics, the wars, the student protests that I saw in my youth. I describe my interview with prominent figures; like rocket scientists. I explain the basics concepts of the missiles and the radars in layman terms. I make a narrative of my days working both as a scientist and an engineer in the Space Shuttle Program. I explain my experiences with the development of the International Space Station Program. Understanding the challenges that we face in the development of Space Vehicles will help you in future development of more modern space vehicles. May be one day we will be able to return to the moon or search for deep space exploration. I will not see that, but, you most probably will see the future developments. Finally, I make a narrative of my encounter with aliens and UFO while I was employed as a scientist at "White Sands", New Mexico. I make a description of the UFO and what the extraterrestrial beings were doing one night. I explain why I have to keep this SECRET inside my chest and why I come out to share my secret with you.
