In her palace-like home in Rio de Janeiro, Daphne Dover still arranges totally secret affairs for kings and billionaires. The millions she collects finance her private orphanage for sexually abused children whom she rescues and educates.
Daphne usually chooses four exceptionally pretty girls to raise in her home. She spoils them and regards them as her daughters. Now they’re teenagers the girls want boyfriends and know Daphne arranges secret sex affairs. Daphne doesn’t want them seducing the males on her staff. She decides by using proper protection she can pair her girls with wholesome young men their age; for a couple of weeks.
Daphne invites her only heir Scott Dover, her American football-playing nephew, to come for his eighteenth birthday. He must bring three of his football buddies with him for an all expense two-week vacation. Daphne’s girls like tall men.
Gordon Dover drives out to the sandlot football game to tell his son the news. Scott’s light brown hair looks dark straw color in the sun as he throws a bullet pass to his halfback Jerry. Catching the fast ball pulls Jerry off his feet; he rolls on the turf clutching the ball.
Gordon smiles, as his son’s accuracy throwing footballs is phenomenal. Scott is a tall well-built athlete. He and his three buddies, Jerry, Bud and John, played on the champion high school team last season. The well-developed seventeen-year-olds will have their eighteenth birthdays in the middle of summer and hope for scholarships to college. Gordon only worries about Scott’s maturity; Dover males have been known to ask the first girl they have sex with to marry them.
Gordon hears a college junior tell Scott, “You got the arm and the accuracy it takes. You’ll get a scholarship for sure.”
Scott thanks him. “My buddies make me look good.” Gordon tells Scott of his Aunt Daphne Dover’s invitation. “She’ll pay the expenses for all four of you.”
“You kidding? Would mother let me go?” His mother insisted they have nothing to do with his immoral aunt.
“You’d stay at Daphne’s Copacabana beach palace. I’ll talk to Doris, but I don’t get your hopes up.”
Scott tells his close buddies about the invitation before he explains they can’t go Bud Becket interrupts. He asks, “She’d pay everything for John, Jerry and me, too?”
“Yeah, if my mother approved which she won’t. I’m not suppose to know how my Aunt Daphne made her fortune. She is the arranging madam for kings and bigwigs of the world countries whose affairs positively must be kept secret. Dad sent her a birthday card last week. She’s sixty now.”
Scott saw their disappointment equaled his and said, “My dad will try and persuade her.”
Gordon Dover knew his wife would be outraged; years ago she insisted all relations with the immoral Daphne Dover are cut off. Gordon drove home pondering a feasible way he might present to change her mind. Gordon considered it imperative for Scott to spend a couple of weeks with his Aunt Daphne Dover. It was essential and that Scott go and that fact could win the argument to change Doris’s mind.
After they had dinner Gordon nodded at his son. Scott left the dining table and hid where he could hear his parents argue. He was six when his father sneaked him to a hotel to meet his Aunt Daphne Dover. Scott saw her again when he was ten and the last time when he was thirteen and interested in girls. All three times his mother never knew. His aunt liked him and he admired her. She was good looking for an old woman fifty-seven back then. She looked years younger; maybe had facial surgery, but she certain had a sexy figure.
Scott listened to his father tell his mother about the all expense vacation for him with his aunt in Rio de Janeiro.
His mother exploded. “For his birthday? Your depraved sister was the infamous European madam and still operates in Rio. I never want our son to even meet her. Not spend two weeks in her fancy whorehouse. I don’t care if she is rich.”
His father said, “Not just rich; she’s incredible wealthy. Doris, stop and think. My sister is sixteen years older. When I was twenty she thirty-six. I said I adamantly disapproved her business; it made her angry. She said Gordon, you feel that strongly I won’t leave you a dime of what you say is ill-gotten money.” Gordon sighed, “I wish I’d reasoned with you years ago. The only other heir Daphne has is Scott. You refuse to let him visit she’ll squandered her money among her whores and customers. As far as notorious, all you know about my sister is what I’ve told you. A journalist wrote that it was Daphne’s investments of money gained from running a secret prostitution service that made her one of the world’s billionaires. She always was monetarily shrewd.”
His father continued. “Now she wants to cultivate Scott. In what manner she intends is a guess. I know her philosophy excludes sex from moral concern. Scott will be eighteen and legally responsible for his actions. Times haven’t changed. Over half his age engages in sex. My grandmother married when fourteen and birthed my mother when fifteen. The bottom line is this. You disapprove Scott won’t go and he won’t inherit a dime of her incredible wealth. Doris, you decide if your standards of morals should cut off Scott’s inherit rights for a fortune.”
His mother took time answering. Scott held his breath; he hadn’t thought about inheriting money from his aunt. His mother cleared her throat. She reluctantly said, “I don’t approve, but then again it should be Scott’s decision. Obviously he wants to visit Rio de Janeiro. But you talk to him and explain he’s to resist whatever temptation your sister has in mind.”
Scott had difficulty not shouting hooray.
