With the passage of each year, the list of the strange and unexplained grows as humans multiply and spread their seed further into the deepest and uninhabited parts of the planet and right out into the fringes of our solar system. As we grow and expand, so do the new mysteries that we discover and add to the list. This book is an attempt to delve into some of the strangest mysteries, monsters and unexplained phenomena that still seem to plaque the minds of humankind. The authors have attempted to present the material in a non-biased manner so as to allow the reader to examine the details of each case for himself or herself and do with the information as he or she sees fit. But be forewarned, that the evidence may not provide the answers that your soul is searching for.
Some of the mysteries mentioned in the book have existed since humans first learned to write. Others are the creations of or discoveries from the modern era. Either way, these cases still remain unsolved. Skeptics and debunkers strive to prove their cases as to who, what, where, when and why when it comes to these mysteries but proof beyond a reasonable doubt still avoids their tireless efforts, very much the same as it does for a prosecutor in an O.J. Simpson trial. Many philosophers, scientists, leaders, religious figures, investigators, researchers and average citizens have all sought answers to these questions at one point or another. The explanations for these mysteries vary greatly and are typically supported by the reader’s own individual hypothesis, or beliefs.

Since the 1980’s there have been hundreds of reports from all over the country involving strange black helicopters that seem to appear at locations that involve UFO activity. They show up as black unmarked helicopters that harass UFO witnesses. They also have been seen at the scene of cattle mutilations throughout the country. The pilots are usually dressed in all black with no visible insignia on their uniforms.
The exact reason for their appearance is never made clear, but they are suspected as being a part of the infamous Men In Black that often show up to harass and quiet UFO witnesses. According to some investigators, the mission of these dark helicopter crews is to use any means necessary to hide the activities of UFOs on Earth.
It has been suggested by some investigators that they are a part of a secret government that operates outside of the norm. It has been suggested that their goal is to abduct civilians and subject them to mind control experiments like those carried out in the 1950 and 1960 under the project name MK-ULTRA. Once they have achieved their goals, they return the unsuspecting victim with a memory of an alien abduction scenario to discredit the victims’ story.
The strange and unmarked aircraft are often seen in locations suspected of hiding secret underground installations and underground bases. Whether or not the strange helicopters are a part of some secret government project or are actively involved in the cover up of UFO activity, their presence is a very real one that has been noted by hundreds of men and women each year. When the Federal Aviation Administration was asked to investigate the black aircraft, it said that it was not conducting an investigation of the black unmarked helicopters. But, witnesses to the strange craft reported being questioned later by the same FAA panel who claimed not to be conducting investigations. Regardless of their true purpose, any organization or government that has to operate in secret when dealing with its own people is usually not up to any good. The truth behind these helicopters will not be known until one goes down in public or is seen by a large population all at once.

Located in the California desert are many mysterious places, but there is one just outside the small southern California town of Blythe that has many wondering who made the mysterious human and animal etchings into the desert surface. The etchings are enormous and there is no trace of the people who made them or any explanation as to why they made them.
Numbering at a half a dozen, the drawings are obviously human and animal figures, but their actual meaning is unknown. In order to see the enormous etchings one has to view them from the air, indicating that when they were drawn, they were not intended to be seen by anyone living on the ground. The figures are so large that one of the largest is 171 feet long making it impossible to view from the ground with the naked eye. They were first discovered in the 1930’s, but it was not until 1952 that they were investigated by archaeologists who were unable to come to any conclusions as to their origins or purpose. They remain an unsolved mystery to this day and scientists have yet to discover any evidence that would offer any clues as to their existence.
